Overview

UP is a climbing route management app for spray walls. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Data we collect

When you create an account and use the app, we collect:

• Email address — used for authentication
• Display name — optional, shown to other users
• Routes — climbing routes you create
• Sends — route completions and ratings you log
• Comments — comments you post on routes

If you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive your email address from those providers. We do not access your contacts, photos, or other account data from those services.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality: authenticating you, displaying your profile and activity to other users, and storing your routes, sends, and comments.

Data storage and security

All data is stored on Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL platform. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties. We do not use advertising or analytics services that track users.

Children's privacy

UP is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. For instructions, see our account deletion page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
